FILIPINO COMMUNITY

Objectives:

1. To build a vibrant Filipino community to serve God and the parish through music and prayers.

2. Able to support our fellow filipino migrant workers within the parish. 

3. To make our parish "OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME". 

There are two main groups in the community.  They are:

1. The Legion of Mary, Queen of Peace Praesidium 

Prayer meeting every Sunday at 9:00am. 

Activities:  Aged homes visitation, hospital visitation, block rosary .and other legionary works and functions.

2. San Lorenzo Ruiz Choir 

Choir service every Sunday at 7:30am mass. 

Activities:  Practice every Saturday at 8:00pm to 10:00pm.

Other Activities: 

Hosting of Simbang Gabi during Christmas and some serve as wardens, communion ministers, catechists and lectors.
